Step 1: Stop the Source & Document Everything
Turn off the water. Take photos before you wipe anything up. Your insurance adjuster needs to see the “before.”
Step 2: Call Seib Before You Settle
Many homeowners settle with insurance, get a check, and then look for a contractor. We recommend calling us first. Kevin can help you scope the damage accurately so your insurance estimate is correct from the start. We work directly with adjusters to streamline the process.
Step 3: The “Repair” Assessment
Unlike other contractors who quote a full kitchen demolition, we look for what can be saved. Can we color-match the existing stain? Can we build new doors that match the old frames? This assessment saves the claim.
Step 4: In-House Fabrication
Once approved, your new cabinets or drawers are built in our Orange shop. We don’t disrupt your kitchen with sawdust for three weeks. We build, then we install.
Step 5: Final Walkthrough
We check plumbing, electrical (supervised by our licensed subs), and alignment. When we leave, you shouldn’t be able to tell there was ever an accident.
